Work with Espanol Children’s Director to coordinate weekly Children’s Ministry activities and events Prepare weekly activities, crafts, and curriculum Recruit, train and organize volunteers to serve in the Children’s area on Wednesday evenings and Sundays Contact new volunteers weekly Provide weekly reporting to Espanol Children’s Director Submit purchase orders, check requests, contract requests and other required financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policies Understand the PBC church programming software to enter events, details, and work orders Understand the PBC membership database as needed for the ministry Run required reports and maintain files Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed Attend ministry staff meetings Complete translation requests for Espanol Ministry as assigned Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequirements: Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of Prestonwood En Espanol Have a joyful passion for Children’s Ministry High School education, some college preferred Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English) both written and oral Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products Ability to work Sunday – Thursday schedule, Wednesday nights and Sundays required Ability to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs, and to lifting up to 20 lbs. without assistance
