The substitute teacher is responsible for planning and delivering effective educational instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. They must also collaborate with staff and parents while maintaining accurate administrative records.

Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver educational instruction using the most efficient and effective methodology for the students assigned when the regular teacher is unavailable.

Collaborate and clearly communicate with parents/guardians and other educators to assist the students.
Implement approved-course curriculum.
Implement modifications in a student's education plan as required.
Complete written reports and assigned administrative tasks related to these functions as needed.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess Florida State Certification. Additionally, applicants are required to undergo fingerprinting and background screening through the Florida DOE.
