Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant Faculty/Instructor teaches Physical Therapist Assistant courses in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program as scheduled, following the course description, outline and syllabus established. The faculty/instructor will provide input for curriculum development, student advising, and participation in program and institutional development. In addition, PTA faculty/instructor may assist with coordination and supervisionof the clinical training portion of the program.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications 1. Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies or Graduate degree in Physical Therapy. 2. Current PT or PTA license in the state of Texas. 3. Minimum 3 years of licensed field experience.
