NPFE seeks a certified and highly qualified English-as-a-Second Language teacher to work with English Language Learner (ELL) students in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar and vocabulary acquisition. The ESL teacher will use appropriate strategies to help learners at each level of language acquisition and development. The ESL teacher will work within the classroom in an inclusion model for students who need assistance in understanding English, and will also provide specific ESL small group instruction courses, consistently collaborating with general education teachers and other school staff.

Candidates must hold or be pursuing a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an ESL endorsement. A bachelor's degree in education and prior classroom experience with English Language Learners are required.
