About the role

The Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a purposeful learning experience by developing engaging activities tailored to student interests and needs. They must also collaborate with school teams and maintain consistent communication with parents to support student achievement.

Chesterbrook Academy is a multi-location school group with campuses in Florida, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia offering outstanding private education to preschool and elementary students.

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; or completed CDA in Infant/Toddler; or completion of at least 30 hours of college credit with at least 6 hours in ECE, Child Development, or a related field, and 1 year of previous experience working in a licensed child care facility Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check Compliance with all state education and licensing standards

This position is regularly required to hear and use clear vision with or without correction.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a CDA in Infant/Toddler, or at least 30 college credits with relevant coursework. Additionally, at least one year of experience in a licensed child care facility and the ability to pass a background check are required.
