We’re looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who have experience working with children and want to build a rewarding career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Paraprofessionals, teacher assistants, special education staff, childcare professionals, behavior aides, and others with experience supporting children are encouraged to apply. You don't need to already be an RBT. Tellos provides paid training and support to help qualified candidates become Registered Behavior Technicians.
What You’ll Do As an RBT, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism to help them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
You’ll receive ongoing guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) while providing individualized ABA therapy in home and community settings.
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the supervision of a BCBA Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and life skills Follow individualized treatment plans and behavior-support strategies Collect and accurately document client data and progress Build positive relationships with children and their families Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the care team Celebrate progress and help children reach meaningful goals Who We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in candidates with experience working with children, including: Paraprofessionals / Paraeducators Teacher assistants Special education staff Childcare professionals Behavioral aides Camp counselors Youth program staff Individuals with other hands-on experience supporting children The ideal candidate is: Compassionate, patient, and dependable Comfortable working one-on-one with children Experienced supporting children, preferably children with special needs Eager to learn and develop professionally Reliable and able to work independently in home and community settings Able to communicate professionally with families and team members A high school diploma or equivalent Able to obtain RBT certification with Tellos' training and support Able to pass required background and employment screenings Able to reliably travel to client locations with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Paid RBT Training & Career Growth
