The Program Aide manages office tasks such as data entry and record-keeping while supporting youth groups and ensuring a safe learning environment. They are also responsible for light maintenance duties and escorting participants to off-site activities.
Program Aides work with Office Manager, Coordinators and Director to ensure the office is managed smoothly. Includes data entry, record-keeping, correspondence, escorting, monitoring and supporting Youth Groups.
$19.00/hr Roles, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties Role, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties Office Tasks (Manage attendance records, Data Entry, Typing, Copying, Manage Program/Office Supplies) Maintenance Tasks (Light, Sweeping, mopping, dusting, general cleaning) Support all areas of the After School Program Escort participants to activities off site. Enforce program rules Know and enforce ALL emergency procedures and follow all safety guidelines associated with all program areas Foster a learning environment that stimulates children’s creative growth and development Attend staff training, weekly meetings and supervision meetings Other duties as required and assigned by Program Director and AVP. Demonstrate professionalism & leadership Qualifications/Educational Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to work between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday for training sessions Must have ability to work collaboratively Must have a sense of humor and a passion for youth development Have energy, motivation and skills needed to work independently Comfortable engaging youth Experience or interest in Education/Social Work a plus Must be able to pass background check including Fingerprint Screening.
