Non-licensed tutors: individuals with an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
Licensed tutors: teachers with proper credentials recognized by the State of California as Properly Licensed Teacher. Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check. Teaching experience preferred. Unwavering belief that all children can learn. Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication. Have an understanding of phonics.
Work with grades: K-2nd during the school day and K-6th after school.
