The counselor is responsible for supervising students during before and after school hours to ensure a safe and positive environment. They will also plan and facilitate engaging activities such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.

About the Role

The Before and After School Teacher plays an essential role in supporting daily school operations and creating a positive, structured environment for students outside regular instructional hours. You will supervise indoor and outdoor play, lead activities, assist with snacks, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment where students can learn, play, and build relationships.

You will also

Plan and facilitate after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities Collaborate with school teams to support a consistent and positive student experience Ensure the safe supervision and care of students during before and after school program hours

What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Ability to pass state and federal background checks Prior experience working with children preferred Dependable, positive, and committed to supporting student well-being Strong communication and supervision skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
