The Group Leader is responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for elementary-age children by leading games, STEM challenges, and arts projects. They also provide homework assistance and build positive relationships with children and their families.

As an After School Group Leader with Kamaʻāina Kids, you’ll create a safe, positive place where elementary-age children can play, learn, explore, and connect.

From outdoor games and STEM challenges to art projects and homework help, you’ll keep kids engaged while being a trusted, encouraging adult in their day.

Monday–Friday afternoons Most shifts: 1:30 PM–5:30 PM Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release No evenings or weekends No holiday work This schedule can be a great fit for college students, aspiring teachers, coaches, retirees, parents returning to work, or anyone looking for rewarding part-time work.

What You'll Do You’ll help turn everyday afternoons into something kids look forward to by: Leading games, outdoor play, and recreation Planning arts, crafts, STEM, and enrichment activities Helping children with homework Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior Building relationships with children and families Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized program What We're Looking For: You don’t need years of experience.
