About the role

You will work alongside early childhood teams to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and supervising children to ensure their safety.

Early Childhood Substitute Teacher ECE Subhub is hiring Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 0 to 5.

We work with your availability to build a weekday schedule.

Support you can expect Training and guidance before your first classroom assignment A Regional Manager who is reachable during your shift Consistent weekday work on a schedule you set What you will do You will work alongside early childhood teams to help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities may include: Assisting with classroom activities and daily routines Helping implement lesson plans Supervising children to keep them safe Building positive relationships with children and staff Maintaining a warm and professional classroom presence Who this works well for Retirees, college students, people reentering the workforce, and anyone looking for part-time to full-time weekday work in early childhood education.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet one or more of the following: Experience working with children from birth through age 5 Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development Current CDA credential Preferred: CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification. Job Details Job Type: Part-time to full-time Pay: $15 to $22 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Minimum availability: At least two weekdays per week

Requirements

Candidates should have experience working with children aged 0-5 or relevant educational credentials such as an Associate degree or CDA credential. A CPR certification is preferred, and the employer provides training for those not currently certified.
