About the role

The instructor will lead soccer sessions for children ages 2-8 at various public and private sites. They are responsible for managing groups of 5-10 children while maintaining a fun, energetic, and professional environment.

Competitive salary Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Training & development We are seeking passionate individuals looking to work with children ages 2-8 years old in an energetic and fun environment. We hold our sessions in park districts, schools, and daycares across Will County and Western Cook County (not Chicago) Monday through Saturday.

We offer flexible scheduling and paid training to ensure we get the best of the best to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will exhibit the qualities below

Consistent Availability - Must be able to work multiple seasons with minimum changes to availability during an 8-week season. Responsible - Ability to arrive on time to sessions, handle groups of 5-10 children, and communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leaders Professional - Clean appearance; be kind and approachable for parents at public sites and directors/staff at private sites Experienced - Proven experience engaging and leading young children; soccer experience is a plus but not required Creative - Comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children Clear Background - Must pass a background check Must have reliable transportation and access to the internet daily with phone/computer.

Every Soccer Shots coach must complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification.

All Soccer Shots coaches are trained in developmentally appropriate techniques.

Coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training.

Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches.

Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children but are incredibly passionate about it. We are in this to impact children in a way that leaves a lasting impression, giving them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. Compensation

$20.00 per hour, with room for advancement based on proven reliability

Requirements

Candidates must have experience working with young children and the ability to pass a background check. Reliable transportation and daily access to the internet are required for this role.
