The Activity Specialist will develop and execute weekly lesson plans while engaging youth in a dynamic after-school environment. They are responsible for maintaining healthy boundaries, resolving conflicts positively, and fostering professional relationships with students, staff, and families.
The successful candidate will have at minimum 3 -4 years or more of non-profit or related youth development program experience The individual will have a familiarity with and passion for working with spirited, high-need, diverse youth populations Must clear the Department of Education PETS Fingerprinting process, School-Aged Children Care HS Diploma is required Program requirements, Statewide Central Register of Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR) clearance as well as Medical, FBI Livescan, State background check, Medical and Tuberculosis Clearance(if required) Three years of experience working in an after-school, day camp, or community youth outreach setting, primarily of the elementary and/or middle school age, is preferred. Pay Range USD $20.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
