Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):

Assist professor in correcting homework and quizzes, leading review sessions, and other tasks as assigned by the professor.

  • Critical Thinking – identify and respond to needs of students and professor based on situational context and logical analysis of relevant information.
  • Leadership – use personal skills to lead students in strengthening their understanding of subject matter and achieve curricular goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Correct homework
  • Lead review sessions
  • Proctor and correct exams
  • Attend class weekly (depending on assignment by supervisor)

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of MUS 141 (A grade) and MUS 212 (B grade or better)
  • High ethical standards in handling fellow students’ work.
