The teacher will conduct assessments to monitor children's growth and identify areas of improvement, maintain developmental profiles, and participate in formal parent/teacher meetings.

Maintain classroom appearance, cleanliness, organization, and safety. Implement developmentally appropriate Spanish-language lessons, activities, and experiences. Plan and implement lesson plans, programs, and daily schedules. Provide engaging Spanish instruction through songs, stories, conversations, games, and hands-on activities. Prepare instructional aids, materials, and classroom resources. Supervise and actively engage children during classroom activities, transitions, outdoor play, meals, and daily routines. Provide guidance and support for children's social, academic, emotional, and adjustment needs. Conduct assessments to monitor children's development, growth, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate developmental profiles and required classroom documentation. Complete necessary paperwork, including daily notes, accident reports, attendance, and other required records. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development, progress, and daily experiences. Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferences and participate in formal parent meetings. Attend staff meetings, academy events, professional development, and parent meetings. Assist with meal times, cleanup, hygiene routines, and classroom transitions. Ensure equipment and classroom materials are in good condition and used properly. Arrange the classroom to provide well-defined and engaging interest areas. Direct and support other classroom staff in maintaining classroom order, routines, safety, and quality. Manage classroom bulletin boards and family information boards. Follow all required medication schedules and procedures. Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional relationship with children, families, and staff. Perform other assigned duties as required.
Must be at least 21 years old. DCF 45 hrs. CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility. Strong Spanish-speaking skills; Spanish teaching experience preferred. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Pleasant, friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and staff. Highly professional, dependable, responsible, and committed to providing quality care and education. Must understand and follow Amazing Explorers Academy policies, procedures, and expectations.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education along with DCF 45 hours. Previous classroom teaching experience in an accredited facility and strong Spanish-speaking skills are required.
