We are looking for an experienced and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher who is ready to take ownership of the classroom and create meaningful learning experiences for young children. This is a lead teaching position—not a co-lead or assistant role. We are seeking a confident educator who understands child development, can manage a classroom effectively, and is excited to make a positive impact on children and families. Why You’ll Love Working With Us Competitive pay of $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on education and experience Full-time employment with scheduling flexibility based on your personal needs A supportive and professional team environment The opportunity to lead your classroom and bring your ideas to life Leadership that values quality, teamwork, and early childhood education A fun, engaging workplace where your work truly matters What You’ll Do Lead a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging preschool classroom Plan and implement creative, developmentally appropriate learning experiences Support each child’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development Encourage curiosity, independence, confidence, and a love of learning Establish consistent classroom routines and positive behavior-guidance strategies Observe children’s development and document their progress Build positive, professional relationships with children and families Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and their child’s progress Guide and collaborate with classroom support staff Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-managed learning environment Work closely with school leadership to uphold our high-quality program standards Follow all center policies and Ohio childcare licensing requirements What We’re Looking For Previous preschool or early childhood classroom experience is required A minimum of a Preschool CDA is required An associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred Strong classroom-management and leadership skills Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Dependability, professionalism, and excellent communication skills The ability to bring both enthusiasm and patience into the classroom A positive team member who takes pride in providing high-quality care and education Must meet all applicable Ohio childcare licensing requirements If you are an experienced preschool educator who is ready to lead, inspire, and grow with a high-quality program, we would love to hear from you.
