Super Soccer Stars·Denver, Colorado
Lead after-school soccer sessions for elementary school children by following provided curriculum and session plans. Manage group safety, equipment setup, and ensure proper child pickup and drop-off procedures.
Soccer Stars of NE Denver is hiring Lead Coaches for our afterschool soccer program this fall.
We run at elementary schools in Green Valley Ranch, Commerce City, and Brighton, and we're looking for coaches who know the game and know how to work with little kids.
The schedule — please read carefully Wednesdays start at 2:30 PM.
All other days start at 3:15 PM.
You need to be free for both start times.
3–4 afternoons per week, Monday through Friday 2 paid hours per day, 6–8 hours per week Season runs September 14 through mid-November.
Most schools are 8 weeks; one runs 9.
We expect to add a fifth school, which would bring this to about 10 hours a week Please only apply if you can commit to the full season.
Our schools and families count on the same coach every week, and finishing the season is what the completion bonus is for.
Your hours and days are guaranteed for the full season — no week-to-week schedule changes, no shifts that disappear.
We're still finalizing which schools land on which days, so we'll confirm your exact days before the season starts and we're looking for people open across weekday afternoons.
But once your days are set, that's your schedule through the end of the season: same school, same days, every week.
What you'd make $22–$25 an hour depending on your experience, plus a $200 bonus when you finish the season.
That works out to roughly $1,400–$1,800 over the season, depending on how many days you're scheduled.
What you'd actually do Run afterschool soccer sessions for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade Follow our curriculum — we give you the session plans, you don't build them from scratch Set up and pack down equipment (we provide all of it) Keep the group organized, safe, and having a good time Handle pickup and drop-off, including checking kids out to the right adult Run our family game day in the final week — parents come watch, kids play a real game, medals and certificates at the end Being straight with you about the job This is a lead role, so you're the one running the session — demonstrating the skill, organizing the drill, keeping the game moving.
You'll have assistant coaches with you, but you set the standard on the field.
Groups run up to 30 kids across kindergarten through 5th grade.
There's no school staff on site during our sessions, so your team handles everything: supervision, bathroom trips, scraped knees, and checking every child out to an authorized adult at the end.
It's a real job with real responsibility, and it's a good one if that's what you're looking for.
To apply Apply here and tell us a little about your soccer background and your experience with kids.
We're interviewing now and want coaches in place before the season starts.
Applications close September 8, 2026, or when the roles are filled.
A real soccer background — you played competitively at the high school, club, or college level, or you've coached the game Coaching experience with kids — youth soccer, camps, clinics, or another sport with elementary-age players Free weekday afternoons, roughly 2:15 to 5:30 Reliable transportation.
Our schools are in Green Valley Ranch (80249), Commerce City (80022), and Brighton (80601) — 10 to 20 minutes apart.
You'd only be at one school per day, but please check the drive from where you live before applying.
Willing to coach outdoors in cold weather.
We start in September and finish in November, so the last few weeks can be genuinely cold.
Sessions run outside unless conditions are unsafe.
Comfortable being the adult in charge of a large group of young kids outdoors Able to pass a background check (required by our school partners) $22–$25 per hour depending on experience, plus a $200 bonus when you finish the season.
Paid first aid and CPR certification — a credential that's yours to keep Team gear $50 referral bonus for anyone you send us who finishes the season Why people like working here We're a small local business, not a big chain.
You'll work directly with the owner, and your schedule won't change on you week to week.
Coaches who do well here get first pick of sites next season and a path to more hours.
Candidates must have a competitive soccer background and experience coaching children. Applicants must be available weekday afternoons and able to pass a background check.
Market context
In Colorado, roles like this often draw steady interest because employers value candidates who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and handle fast-moving environments. Competition is usually strongest for applicants who already have the required training, certifications, and exam readiness, since those credentials can narrow the field. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform against the original job description, then confirm your certification timeline before applying.
