The substitute teacher will support the school's mission while managing classroom activities for students in grades Pre-K through 5th. They are responsible for demonstrating knowledge of developmental, social, and emotional needs while fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Dwight-Englewood School is currently searching for Substitute Teachers for grades Pre-K 3 through 5th grade. D-E's Lower School is a place where teachers encourage children to embrace every aspect of childhood while paying close attention to each students’ academic growth and progress.
The ability to listen, work with a diverse community and a range of learners, as well as humor and humility, are essential.
For this position the daily rate will be $150 for a full day and $90 for a half day.

Candidates must have completed a minimum of sixty college credits and possess an understanding of elementary curriculum benchmarks. Previous experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred, along with a commitment to diversity and equity.
