We're hiring a Floating Assistant Teacher for our Plymouth location.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work within our center's operating hours of 7:00 am–5:30 pm.

If you're an entry-level educator, a caregiver with prior childcare experience, or someone looking to grow into a certified teaching role and comfortable supporting infants through preschool age, we'd love to meet you.

This vital role supports multiple classrooms, offering flexibility and variety while ensuring consistency in high-quality child care.

Whether you're soothing a toddler, inspiring preschoolers, or supporting fellow daycare teachers, you'll be an essential part of our nurturing and collaborative community.

You'll thrive in this role if you have

A passion for a career working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting An engaging and energetic demeanor and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals EEC Teacher Certification or CDA Certificate is a plus!

Some requirements of the role include

Availability to work a full time, flexible schedule within operating hours of the school Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As a Floating Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for

Providing substitute coverage across classrooms when teachers are out sick, on planning time, or need a break throughout the day Assisting classroom teachers with daily activities, lesson materials, free play, and outdoor supervision Helping with daily routines, including diapering, snack and mealtime assistance, and naptime Helping maintain cleanliness throughout the school, including classrooms, common areas, and shared spaces Encouraging children's participation through age-appropriate interactive activities Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry (if applicable) Building positive relationships with students, families, and fellow teachers
