About the role

The assistant coach will lead wrestling practices and manage interscholastic games throughout the winter season. They are expected to foster an inclusive environment while teaching life skills and values to student-athletes.

Concord Academy, an independent, all-gender boarding and day school renowned for its world-class faculty, passionate students, and graduates who make their mark on the world, is seeking all Gender Wrestling Assistant Coach starting the 2026 fall season. This is a temporary part-time position. Concord Academy interscholastic teams are members of the Eastern Independent League.

Required Experience

Interested candidates should possess experience in Participation/Coaching wrestling and a passion for passing on life skills and values through the challenges that arise during an athletic season.

Timeline

Winter tryouts begin on 11/13 & 11/16-17 and the season concludes in early March.

Practices are held

Monday-Friday from 3:30 -5:45 pm at SHAC on CA’s campus. Games are held primarily on Wednesday, Friday and the occasional Monday.

Stipend amount is $4,000 for the season
