About the Role
- Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support students in Brighton, CO. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, inclusive learning environment that helps students succeed. You’ll work collaboratively with school staff and a supportive, therapist-run team. - + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects Support students with mild to moderate disabilities in a high school setting Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs What We’re Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred Strong classroom management and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
