Overview A loving family in Middleburg, VA is seeking a full-time educator to help with the homeschooling of their 8 year old autistic son.
The educator needs to have a background in autism, whether in special education, developmental therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, or a related field.
This would be a live-out position with a dedicated school space in downtown Middleburg.
The hope is to provide a robust outdoor-focused instructional system that allows him to identify opportunities, hobbies, and skills that allow his confidence to grow and have fun along the way!
The child is happy, energetic and social.
There are no challenging behaviors like aggression, self-injury or elopement.
The schedule would be Monday through Friday roughly 8am-3pm.

Qualifications: Dedicated Passionate Patient
Must be legal to work in the US Valid and clean driver's license Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Alternatively, valid certification as an OT, BCBA or SLP, or expressive arts Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is essential. Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
