The Spanish teacher is responsible for designing and delivering an approved academic curriculum to students in grades 6-12. They report to the Department Chair and Assistant Head of the Upper School to support the school's mission.

Austin Preparatory School, located in Reading, Massachusetts about 15 miles north of Boston, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Spanish Teacher.

Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is an independent co-educational Catholic day school in the Augustinian tradition for students in grades 6-12.

There are 700+ students enrolled in the school.

The Spanish Teachers report directly to the Department Chair and Assistant Head/Head of the Upper School.

Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering school and academic department approved curriculum on behalf of the school in support of the school’s mission.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Proficient level of technical knowledge (i.e. Apple, PC, MS Office)
