About the role

Provide speech and language services, including direct therapy and consultation, to students across various grade levels. Collaborate with educational staff and families while maintaining accurate documentation and participating in case conferences.

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school-based team serving students in Brownsburg, IN. This position offers a diverse caseload ranging from preschool through 12th grade, with a combination of consultative services, case conferences, and direct therapy. Caseload Details: ~100 students total across multiple settings Approximately 60 students across two non-public schools, with the majority of services provided through consultation and case conferences Approximately 40 students in an Applied Skills program, serving students with moderate to severe needs in a life-skills-focused setting Grade levels range from preschool–12th grade in the non-public settings and K–5th grade in the Applied Skills program Travel between school locations is required, with typically one location per day An established schedule is already in place, and the departing SLP is willing to share the schedule and assist with onboarding the incoming SLP Shared office space with the OT and PT team Flexible scheduling on non-public school days — the SLP may follow the district schedule or utilize a flexed schedule The district is exploring the addition of SLPAs to provide additional support Schedule: The typical weekly schedule includes: 3 days at the primary school location 1 day at each of the two non-public schools (2 days total) Typically one school location per day

Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to students across a range of communication needs Complete evaluations and participate in eligibility and case conference meetings Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Provide direct therapy and consultation services based on student needs Support students with moderate to severe disabilities and life-skills needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, OT, PT, families, and other members of the educational team Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and special education requirements

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Indiana SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred CF candidates may be considered Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Why AnthroMed Education? Requirements
