Market context

California social work roles stay competitive

In California, social worker roles tied to schools and behavioral health often draw steady interest because districts and care teams need licensed professionals who can support students and families. These positions are competitive when they require a master’s degree, active licensure such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, and experience with children in school or behavioral health settings. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save time, then confirm your license status and tailor your application to child-focused experience.
