Description Assistant Coach - Soccer Description The job of an assistant softball coach is to assist the head coach with the design and implementation of the program's activities following applicable rules and regulations related to the sport; provide supervision of student athletes during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities; serving as a positive role model to student athletes. This job reports to the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
include the following: To fully understand and assist in the implementation of the philosophies of the athletic program and the school. To develop players in specific areas of responsibility within the guidelines set forth by the head coach. To teach fundamentals and techniques that are approved by the state association regarding player safety. To assist in equipment check out/check in procedures. To assist in the preparation of field facilities for practices and contests. To assist in the supervision of the locker areas. To assist in providing a positive public relations outlook. To cooperate and abide by all state and conference regulations.
Education: High School Diploma Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR Certification Must be able to drive when necessary Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
