CONCEPT Continuing and Professional Studies at Palo Alto University specializes in live and on-demand professional training developed for mental health professionals. We also provide group training and consultation, including evaluation of short- and long-term training outcomes, instructional design elements, and online pedagogy. CONCEPT was founded in 2009 by Dr. Patricia Zapf and was acquired by Palo Alto University in 2018 to become the Continuing & Professional Studies Division of the University. Palo Alto University is a small, private non-profit university dedicated to improving the human condition through excellence in teaching, research and scholarship in the fields of psychology and counseling. With an unwavering commitment to diversity and to the communities it serves, PAU offers doctorate, master's and bachelor's programs, as well as hands-on clinical training.
