Health educator

The health educator is primarily responsible for providing information on healthy lifestyles, sti/Hiv prevention, safe dating, domestic violence, sexuality, human trafficking, and contraception to individuals aged 12 to 25. This role involves planning, developing, implementing, and updating health and community outreach programs, conducting outreach, and providing direct counseling services on various health-Related issues.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or prior experience in health education and outreach, along with specific skills such as facilitation, public speaking, program evaluation knowledge, and counseling skills including motivational interviewing. A broad background in health education pertinent to adolescent needs, family planning methodology, and in-Depth hiv/Sti knowledge is essential.
