The Substitute Teacher instructs children in activities designed to promote their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. This position also assists in planning individual and group activities tailored to the ages of the children.
Candidates must possess 12 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field, along with an appropriate CTC permit. Additional requirements include passing physical and background checks, holding current vaccinations, and possessing a valid CA driver’s license.

Education/Certifications: 6 semester units or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. CTC Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher, or Site Supervisor Permit. Experience working with children and families.
Must successfully pass a physical examination and have a current T.B. clearance, pertussis, measles and influenza vaccinations. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate Must complete & pass a criminal background clearance through Community Care Licensing (DOJ/FBI/CAI). Must possess a CA driver’s license, and evidence of automobile insurance. (If applicable.)
Max 25 hours a week.
Compensation: $23 to $25 per hour
