Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assistant Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma, associate degree preferred
  • Certifications
  • CDA and/or
  • RDA and
  • DANB RHS
  • X-Ray Certified
  • At least three years of experience as a Certified or Registered DA chairside
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
  • Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
