Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred
  • Certifications:
  • RMA and/or
  • CMA and/or
  • CCMA
  • At least three years of experience as an MA in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated and results-driven
  • Prior higher education, postsecondary teaching experience preferred
