Special Education Teacher- The Darnell School

The special education teacher will supervise a classroom of up to six students and assigned staff, focusing on creating a supportive and growth-Focused environment. Key duties include conducting assessments, implementing individualized education plans (Ieps), and leading/Mentoring the classroom team.

A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is the minimum requirement, along with holding or actively pursuing a massachusetts state teaching license in severe disabilities. Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and effective english communication.
