🎯 position summary
Under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Therapist teaches new skills to clients in therapeutic settings using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Therapists implement individualized treatment plans and help clients and families reach meaningful goals.
Behavior Therapists are trained to work with multiple clients and receive ongoing supervision, feedback, and professional development.

🧠 what you’ll do
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide 1
- 1 ABA instruction based on individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior support strategies and skill acquisition programs
- Collect and record behavioral and program data accurately
- Support skill generalization across environments (home, community, outings)
- Provide family training and feedback as directed by supervisors
- Complete all session notes and required documentation in a timely manner
- General responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and supervision of assigned clients
- Complete required training and pass competency observations
- Follow guidelines in the Employee Handbook and Elevate Parent Handbook
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and FERPA standards
- Complete CALM or Safety Care training
- Reschedule missed sessions according to program policies
- Accept and apply performance feedback professionally
- Complete administrative and documentation responsibilities as assigned
- Communication & professionalism
- Follow established communication channels within the organization
- Share important updates and concerns with supervisors promptly
- Respond to emails daily
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong attendance

You might be a great fit if you
- Have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred)
- Have experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Are interested in or familiar with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Have strong communication and documentation skills
- Are patient, compassionate, energetic, and dependable
- Are comfortable being active on the job — including running, squatting, lifting, and supporting clients physically when needed
