Preschool teacher assistant - Head start program north dade

The preschool teacher assistant is responsible for aiding head start classroom teachers in the care and development of enrolled children, as well as maintaining the classroom environment. This includes assisting in planning and teaching developmentally appropriate activities to advance children's cognitive, social/Emotional, physical, and creative skills.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, along with the required fccpc birth–five or cda preschool certification. Preferred qualifications include an associate's in early childhood education and one to two years of experience working with preschool children, preferably in a head start setting.
