Center Mental Health Consultant (26 hours a week)

The consultant will focus on early identification, diagnosis, basic care, promotion, prevention, and education related to mental health, utilizing an employee assistance program approach with short-Term counseling centered on employability barriers. Key duties include conducting assessments, providing mental health promotion presentations, offering short-Term counseling, and managing crisis interventions and referrals.

Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice as an independent practitioner in iowa, functioning as a clinical/Counseling psychologist or clinical social worker. A minimum of one year of experience providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults as a licensed independent practitioner is required.
