Camp Counselor

Day camp counselors are primarily responsible for supervising their assigned camper group, ensuring the safety of all campers, and efficiently running the camp's daily program activities. Essential functions include actively supervising campers, guiding their character development, and modeling the ymca core values.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school degree or equivalent, possess an enthusiastic personality, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. Applicants must also be willing to work outdoors, pass a drug test and background check, and prioritize the needs of youth campers.
