Methodist and University Hospital-Patient Care Intern (PCI) Program

The patient care intern provides direct support to the nursing team by assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and continuous patient observation. They work under the direction of a registered nurse to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment for adult patients.

Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed a fundamentals of nursing course. A high school diploma or ged and current basic life support certification are also required.
