The role involves precepting Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students from Sacred Heart University's College of Nursing during the Spring 2026 semester and beyond. Preceptors must be credentialed professionals (NP, MD, DO, or PA) practicing primarily in Pediatric, Women's Health, or Primary Care settings.
Candidates must hold NP, MD, DO, or PA credentials and be available to precept students in Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, or Pennsylvania starting Spring 2026. Preceptors are not university employees but may be designated as Affiliate Faculty.

Preceptors are not employees of Sacred Heart University but may be designated as "Affiliate Faculty" with designated university perks. Stipends may be provided if requested and allowed by the preceptor's organization.
