Pediatric Child Life Specialist

As a pediatric child life specialist, you will support pediatric and adolescent patients and families coping with hospitalization and treatment. You will use therapeutic play and education to reduce fear and anxiety while providing emotional support.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in child life or a related field and complete a 600-Hour child life internship. Strong knowledge of child development and the ability to provide emotional support and coping strategies are essential.
