St. Gerard Majella Catholic School is seeking reliable and mission‑driven day‑to‑day substitute teachers to support classroom instruction when faculty members are absent. Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining a positive, structured, and faith‑centered learning environment for students. Position Overview Substitute teachers will follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher, manage daily routines, and ensure continuity of learning. Provide classroom instruction based on teacher‑prepared lesson plans.
Maintain a respectful, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, and other assigned areas.
Communicate effectively with students and staff to support daily routines.
Follow school policies, procedures, and expectations for student behavior.
Ensure student safety and uphold the values of a Catholic school community.
