Behavioral Health & Disabilities Support Spec

This specialist supports the social-Emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-Being of young children (Ages 0–5) by conducting observations, assisting with behavior support plans, and implementing program services aligned with head start standards. Key duties involve coordinating mental health and disabilities referrals, tracking progress, and collaborating with teaching staff and families to promote inclusion and positive child outcomes.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience working with children aged 0–5, including experience supporting children with disabilities or mental/Social-Emotional needs. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and experience supporting iep/Ifsp implementation or coaching adults on developmental strategies.
