The coach will be responsible for coaching duties with the Varsity Football Quarterbacks team, reporting to the football program head, and assisting with other program-wide duties as assigned. Specific duties include supervising and instructing student-athletes, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old, available daily from 3 pm during the season, and have experience coaching football at the middle school, high school, or college level. Required qualifications also include demonstrated cultural awareness and obtaining First Aid/CPR certification before the season starts.
Lakeside School, an independent 5-12 coeducational day school located in North Seattle is currently recruiting for a Quarterbacks Coach. The season is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 19, 2026 and concludes in mid-November. Required pre-season coaches meetings will take place the week of August 10, 2026.
This coach, reporting to the football program head, will join an athletics program that includes 26 varsity teams, most of which have both sub-varsity and middle-school counterparts. The football program supports a varsity and JV team. This coach will be responsible for coaching duties with their team, as well as other program-wide duties as assigned by the football program head. We offer a stipend schedule that compares favorably with peer schools and clubs both locally and nationally. Coaching stipends are paid in monthly installments during the primary competition seasons. Other benefits include Lakeside Athletics apparel and access to funds for professional development.
