The teacher will serve as an Advisor, Math Teacher, and guide for Upper School students in Algebra I and Geometry, utilizing effective instructional skills based on diagnostic testing analysis and incorporating necessary modifications. Responsibilities also include planning lessons, maintaining accurate records, communicating professionally with students and parents, and collaborating effectively with faculty and staff.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Math or a related field (with minimum twelve Math credit hours if related) and ideally have 3+ years of experience as an Upper School Math teacher, along with a desire to work with Upper School students who learn differently. Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in educational technology, and the ability to collaborate are essential.
The Upper School Alg. I / Geometry Teacher serves as an Advisor, Math Teacher, and guide of students at the respective grade level and subject area.
