School Based Nurse

The school-Based lpn/Rn delivers direct nursing care, promotes student wellness, and supports the overall health needs of the school community by assisting in health services across all schools. This role involves implementing health policies, identifying student health needs, making referrals, and maintaining appropriate medical treatment until authorized care is obtained.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with health agencies, professionals, and children, and be willing to provide services outlined in the kentucky department of education health services reference guide. A current cpr certification and maintenance of required continuing education courses are mandatory qualifications.
