Core responsibilities
The occupational therapist will complete initial client evaluations, establish plans of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including aba staff and families, to support student outcomes. Responsibilities also include providing telemedicine services, conducting staff education, and maintaining accurate client documentation and equipment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an acote-Accredited program and have passed the nbcot exam, along with maintaining an indiana occupational therapy license. Required experience includes working with individuals with autism and comorbid diagnoses aged 1-22, along with the physical ability to manage various sitting levels, navigate stairs, and safely lift/Position clients.
