Early Childhood Educator - Elkhart - FT

The early childhood educator is responsible for the safe and caring management and instruction of children aged 7 weeks up to 12 years, which includes facilitating hands-On interactive learning experiences and planning weekly lesson plans utilizing the highscope curriculum. This role also involves maintaining regular communication with parents regarding their child's development and center policies, and updating student files.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and pass a criminal background check and drug test, with reliable transportation being mandatory. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of childcare experience and coursework in early childhood development, along with current or willingness to obtain child/Infant cpr and first aid certification.
