Surg tech Intern

Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during invasive, minimally invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic surgeries. Interns will also handle specimen labeling, complete documentation, and support intra-Operative temperature regulation measures.

Candidates must be currently enrolled as a senior in a committee on allied health education and accreditation approved surgical technology program and must obtain surgical technologist certification within six months of graduation. Preferred qualifications include a strong interest in fast-Paced surgical settings, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.
