Act 18 One-on-One Aide

The one-On-One aide provides individual support to a specific student with disabilities throughout the school day. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, promoting social interaction, and implementing behavior intervention strategies.

Candidates must meet one of three criteria to be considered highly qualified, including completing at least 60 college credit hours or obtaining an associate's degree. Desired qualifications include basic communication skills and the ability to perform physical tasks related to the student's needs.
