Camp Counselor, Lake Nona YMCA Family Center

This role involves providing direct supervision for a group of children in a seasonal day camp, ensuring their safety and welfare while facilitating positive relationships and program activities. Responsibilities include acquainting children with rules, assisting with activity implementation, monitoring needs, and maintaining equipment and facility cleanliness.

Candidates should ideally have a high school education or equivalent, with one year or more of college preferred, along with previous experience working with children, preferably in a day camp setting. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and must obtain cpr, first aid, aed certifications, and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
