Substance Use Disorder Counselor

Counselors provide clinical services aligned with hazelden betty ford foundation standards of care and offer clinical coaching to students and interns to develop competency. They deliver substance use disorder treatment services according to organizational policies and represent services to various audiences.

Substance use disorder counselor 1 requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a completed addiction counseling certificate/Degree, and active florida licensure (Cap or cac). Counselor 2 requires a master's degree and active florida licensure (Cap or cac), with a willingness to obtain additional licensure as needed.
